KURAHI · COMPARISON · READ 2026-10-14

Kurahi next to the tools people already run.

Public documentation and repositories, read on the date above. Where a competitor is stronger, the board says so. Where Kurahi has not shipped, the cell says roadmap. Cells we could not confirm from an official source are marked as not verified. Absence from documentation is not proof of absence.

WHERE KURAHI IS BEHIND

The honest column.

Message-level undo and plan mode

Kurahi undoes files from snapshots, not messages; a read-only mode is a tool policy, not a Tab switch.

Desktop app and IDE extension

Kurahi ships an ACP bridge and language-server integration; there is no desktop app and no editor extension yet.

Subscription sign-in

OAuth and device-code sign-in work for a subset of providers; the rest take a key.

Code signing

Bundles carry SHA-256 sums, a CycloneDX SBOM and provenance attestation; they are not yet code-signed for macOS and Windows.

Community

The board shows the gap honestly: tens or hundreds of thousands of stars against a repository that opened on 15 October 2026: github.com/koda-tokyo/kurahi.
